Management Consultant (2007-2011)
Eager to jump start my career, I joined the management consulting firm Business integration Partners before the end of my master degree, concluding my graduation final project during nights and weekends. Business Integration Partners S.p.A. is a Deloitte consulting spin-off, currently the major Italian management consulting firm.
I had been working three years as a consultant for Vodafone, a worldwide leading Telco Operator, in the Program Management team, which was responsible for the strategic planning of investments and launches of new products. The team was also providing management counseling to the head of the operation department (250 employers, 350 Mio€ budget, 150+ projects/year) supporting governance activities.
I gained strong credibility with the client, holding a trade union role between the representative of the Vodafone operation department and the team of consultants (BIP) during the reengineering of the New Product Development Process.
I also took part to reorganization of Vodafone operations department as member of a team of consultants which supported the client during this transformational project.
After three years of experience in the Telco Industry I asked to join the Financial service branch, a new stream of services of the consulting firm, aiming to enrich my profile.
Among other activities, I managed an outsourcing project involving a global IT consultancy firm, at Banca Popolare di Milano, one of the top 10 banking group in Italy. I worked as Project Manager with full client’s delegation, in substitution of a colleague with higher seniority, coordinating client’s representative and the outsourcer’s team.
